Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

Theatre designed specifically for young performers!
Horizon Rising Stars (HRS) was founded in January 2024 as an inclusive and welcoming space for youth performers. In April 2024, our inaugural production of James and the Giant Peach Jr. graced the stage at Riverside Arts Center and welcomed over 35 performers to our program. HRS will provide programming for individuals 18 and younger who want to engage in the performing arts and find ways to develop their theatre skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Following our mission statement, we will provide a space that is inclusive, inventive, and encouraging for those who may be new to theatre, as well as those who are experienced. We will open our doors specifically to those in this age group who are looking for additional performance opportunities outside of their school groups and provide an introductory experience to the adult and community theatre world.
